This is coat of arms. I used Photoshop to create it. I had to find pictures of google images with selecting the size and the color. The coat of arms shows 2 animals, crest, banner, motto and shield. The 2 animals should represent us in some ways. I placed the pictures in the Photoshop and used the magic wand to clear the excessive area around the picture. Then I also colored the background using the gradient tool. I think it was quite easy to create the coat of arms in the Photoshop. The hardest thing for me was to find the pictures. I couldn’t understand which pictures to use.

This is the second draft of my medieval castle. I made the Chapel, stable, pepperpot turrent, brattice, portcullis and made the roof of the gatehouse. I used many tools like rectangle tool, line tool, offset tool, and many more. The chapel is the church. Stable is the place where you put horses for them to stay. The gatehouse is the entrance and the portcullis too. I have to make the keep much taller than the other towers. I made it more beautiful by adding realistic colors by using the paint bucket tool. It looks more realistic that before. Then I will have to make stairs, moat, doors and windows from the tower for the people to watch from windows and doors for people to enter the tower. The hardest thing to make I thought was the roof of the gatehouse because I already made the gate and then I had to make the roof above it so it was kind of hard and the brattice too.
This is my 3D Medieval Castle (second) :
This is the medieval castle I made. I made the floor and made it look more 3D. Then I made the towers and used offset tool and made a circle. Then pulled it up and made the merlon(up and down part) to look like more realistic. I also made the wall. Then I made the gate too. I made my gate by looking at the video Mr. Pete made and posted in Youtube, it helped me a lot in making my castle. I had to look at every small details carefully. If we make mistakes then probably I will have to make that part again or use Ctrl Z to go back. I had to look carefully at the measurements too.

This is the Meideval poster I made. I made it by adding the Coat of Arms and my 3D Medieval Castle. First I made the coat of arms in photoshop. Then I went to my medieval castle and I had to hide the labels of the castle. Because then it will make it more neater to understand. I exported the picture of the medieval castle and opened it in photoshop. Then I added text using text tool and wrote my name, grade, class and the date to remember that we made some on 29th May, 2014. Then I exported the picture of coat of arms to the page where there was my castle’s picture. I adjusted the pictures neatly and changed the background color by using the gradient tool and made the combination of dark blue and light blue.

I made this castle because I learned about the medieval history in my Social Studies class and I am going to attack one castle to know how medieval time people used to attack a castle that time. I made the castle in sketchup. I used many tools like push and pull tool to pull it up. I used the line tool to make lines. I used rectangle tool to make windows. I also used paint bucket to color my castle so it will look more realistic. I used many more tools like the text tool, offset tool, 2 point arc tool and many more.
The important parts of my castle is the keep and the portcullis because if people come to attack I have to protect the keep and of course the castle as well so, to protect I will put the portcullis down and that’s how I will protect my castle and not only these parts but all of the parts in my castle are important. It was actually fun making and I’ve never made a castle in sketchup and the castle I made looks more realistic. I will protect my castle as I said before by putting down the portcullis down so the people will not be able to enter my castle and I will place my people on the wall walk in case if people jump but, I guess they cannot jump because it is way to high for them to jump. I enjoyed making this castle and it was a nice experience making a castle.

This week I just did is added more details to the windows. I used push and pull tool to make the window look more like realistic. After I was done making one side of the window I placed it in it’s place. Then I used the same technique to make the window of the other side. Both were the same but then their sizes were different. I used move tool, offset tool, push and pull tool and many more tools to make this window. I also learned how to rotate window from different sides. I also learned how to color the glass to make it look like more realistic. Then I also learned how to make the door I used the move tool to move the top part outside and then used push and pull tool to pull the rectangle and then divided it and then I added only few layers and I am going to learn how to create the rest of the door in next class.
This is my Sketch up week 4 picture:
During my week 3, I made it more detailed. I learned how to make a realistic looking window. I also learned how to divide the window by using the segment tool. I divided into 2 segments to find the middle point. Then I divided into 2 segments again so there will be total of 8 blocks to the window. Then we also used the push and pull tool to make it look more realistic. The window also has to be accurate so the steps we did on this side we have to do it on other side as well. But, It was fun though and I also learned many things about how to create a real looking window in Skechtup.
This is my SKetchup-week 3 picture:
This week we did is added the layers. We used the push and pull tool to add the layers. The length, height and the width dimensions should be the exact as the real one so we had to very careful about that. If we make any mistakes then the easiest thing to do is start it all over again. Then we made windows and doors and also added layers to it to make it look more realistic. It is probably that much we did this week.
This is my week 2 of the room in sketchup:
We used sketch up to create a realistic room. We are learning to use sketch up for realistic rooms like the one I made. We first made the bottom wall and then used the push and pull tool in the sketch up to pull the wall up so it would look more realistic. We also made the pillars at the side and the corners too so, it would look more realistic. My own experience doing was fun.
This is my first step of the room in Google Sketch up:
This is a survey made by me and my other two friends Anandi and Rutuja S. We wanted to know our class about what food they like, sports they like and etc. It was a good way to know our classmates and our friends better. It was also a good chance to know what our friends and classmates like and don’t like.

Conclusion= The responses were quit good. My friends favourite color seems to blue because people like it the most and it seems like people don’t like pink and green that much. Most of my friends seem to like Flappy birds and it seems they enjoy it but, it seems like people don’t like Temple run/2 anymore. Most of the my friends like other songs. The types of music my friends like are Jass, slow and rap.
